The waters covered their adversaries; not one of them survived.


When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots and horsemen went into the sea, the Lord brought the waters of the sea back over them, but the Israelites walked through the sea on dry ground.


Pharaoh’s chariots and his army he has hurled into the sea. The best of Pharaoh’s officers are drowned in the Red Sea.


But as for you, turn round and set out towards the desert along the route to the Red Sea.’


It was not your children who saw what he did for you in the wilderness until you arrived at this place,


Then we turned back and set out towards the wilderness along the route to the Red Sea, as the Lord had directed me. For a long time we made our way around the hill country of Seir.
