The God who is my Rock, in Him will I trust. He is my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower, and my Refuge, my Savior. You save me from violence.


He wanders for bread, saying, Where is it? He knows that the day of darkness is ready at hand.


The Almighty, whom we cannot find out, is exalted in power; and to judgment and overflowing righteousness He does no violence.


A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment; to You, O Jehovah, I will sing praise.


But He saved them for His name's sake, to make His mighty power known.


If I walk in the midst of trouble, You will give me life; You shall stretch forth Your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and Your right hand shall save me.


Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for I do trust in You; cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You.


They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom and talk of Your power,


Be exalted, O Jehovah, in Your strength; we will sing, and praise Your power.


For His anger is only a moment; in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
