Can that which has no taste be eaten without salt? Or is there taste in the white of an egg?


A Song of degrees; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!


Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.


And you shall offer them before Jehovah, and the priests shall cast salt on them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering to Jehovah.


You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be salted? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and to be trodden underfoot by men.
