And Jacob said to Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty years. Few and evil have been the days of the years of my life, and I have not attained to the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage.


He who is slow to wrath is of great understanding, but he who is hasty of spirit exalts folly.


My son, fear Jehovah and the king; and do not fellowship with those who are given to change;


one girded in the loins; and a he-goat; and a king when his army is with him.


If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, do not leave your place; for yielding quiets great sinners.


Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew and your brow bronze.


And all the people of the earth are counted as nothing; and He does according to His will in the army of heaven, and among the people of the earth. And none can strike His hand, or say to Him, What are You doing?


And for the majesty that He gave him, all people, nations, and languages trembled and feared before him. He killed whom he would, and whom he would he kept alive. And whom he would, he set up; and whom he would, he put down.
