Though his honor mounts up to the heavens, and his head reaches to the clouds,


And you say, What does God know? Can He judge through the dark cloud?


He gives safety to him, and he rests on it; yet His eyes are on their ways.


Hell is naked before Him, and the Pit has no covering.


There is no darkness, nor shadow of death to hide there the workers of iniquity.


And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth for fear of Jehovah and for the glory of His majesty, when He arises to shake the earth terribly.


Your dreadfulness has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, O you who dwell in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you should make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from there, says Jehovah.


Though Babylon should mount up to the heavens, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet plunderers shall come to her from Me, says Jehovah.


when I shall bring you down with those who go down into the Pit, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the low parts of the earth, in places ruined in days of old, with those who go down to the Pit, so that you have no inhabitants (but I gave glory in the land of the living)


to the end that none of all the trees by the waters shall be exalted in their height, nor give their top among the thick boughs, nor should their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water. For all of them are given to death, to the lower parts of the earth, in the midst of the sons of men, with those who go down into the Pit.


Though you rise high like the eagle, and though you set your nest between the stars, I will bring you down from there, says Jehovah.


And He said to them, I saw Satan fall from Heaven like lightning.
