27 And she came to the man of God to the hill, and she caught him by the feet. And Gehazi came near to push her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone, for her soul is troubled within her. And Jehovah has hidden it from me and has not told me.

And Nathan said to the king, Go, do all that is in your heart, for Jehovah is with you.


And she went and came to the man of God, to Mount Carmel. And it happened when the man of God saw her afar off, he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, the Shunammite.


Please run now to meet her, and say to her, Is it well with you? Is it well with your husband? Is it well with the boy? And she answered, Well!


And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king, but Elisha the prophet, who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.


My soul is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint on my self; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul.


The heart knows its own bitterness, and a stranger does not share in its joy.


The spirit of a man will nourish his sickness, but a wounded spirit who can bear?


For the Lord Jehovah will do nothing unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.


But He did not answer her a word. And His disciples came and begged Him, saying, Send her away, for she cries after us.


And the crowd rebuked them, saying that they should be silent. But they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!


But as they were going to report to His disciples, behold, Jesus also met them, saying, Hail! And they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.


And they brought children to Him, so that He should touch them. And His disciples rebuked those bringing them.


And Jesus said, Let her alone! Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work towards Me.


And she stood behind Him, weeping at His feet, and she began to wash His feet with tears and wipe them with the hair of her head. And she ardently kissed His feet and anointed them with the ointment.


No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master does. But I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.


And upon this His disciples came and marveled that He talked with the woman. However, no one said, What do You seek, or why do You talk with her?


And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to Jehovah, and wept sorely.
