many times they have afflicted me from my youth; yet they have not prevailed over me.


To the Chief Musician, on the deer of the dawn. A Psalm of David. My God, my God, why have You forsaken me, and are far from my deliverance, and from the words of my groaning?


For Jehovah loves judgment and does not forsake His saints; they are kept forever; but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.


Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why do you moan within me? Hope in God; for I still praise Him, the salvation of my face, and my God.

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?


But He who comforts the lowly comforted us by the coming of Titus.


Yea, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.


Let your way of life be without the love of money, and be content with such things as you have, for He has said, "Not at all will I leave you, not at all will I forsake you, never!"
