You will strike the house of Ahab your master, and I will avenge the blood of my servants the prophets and the blood of all the servants of the Lord from the hand of Jezebel.


the fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the decrees of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.


O  Lord, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, for You have done wonderful things; Your plans formed of old are faithfulness and truth.


“But the court shall sit for judgment, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it forever.


Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; their foot will slip in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things to come hasten upon them.


He is the rock; His work is perfect; for all His ways are just. He is a God of faithfulness and without injustice; righteous and upright is He.


Rejoice, O you nations, with His people; for He will avenge the blood of His servants and will render vengeance on His adversaries and will be merciful to His land and people.


They sang the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of saints!


“Rejoice over her, O heaven and saints and apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you against her.”


For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth have committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.”


They cried out with a loud voice, “How long, O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
