How sweet are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!


More to be desired are they than gold, yes, than much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones.


And He spread it before me. And there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were words of lamentation and mourning and woe.


So the Spirit lifted me up and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit, and the hand of the Lord was strong upon me.


He said to me, Son of man, feed your stomach and fill your inward parts with this scroll that I give you. Then I ate it, and it was as honey for sweetness in my mouth.


Then he said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.”


So I went to the angel and said to him, “Give me the little scroll.” He said to me, “Take it and eat it. ‘It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’ ”
