Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be treated like the wicked; far be it from You. Should not the Judge of all the earth do right?”


For He performs what is appointed for me, and many such things are with Him.


He covers the face of the full moon and spreads His cloud over it.


Your way was through the sea, Your path through the great waters; yet Your footsteps were unseen.


Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; mercy and truth go before Your presence.


Blessed are the people who know the joyful shout. They walk, O  Lord, in the light of Your countenance.


The King in His might loves justice; You have established equity; You have executed justice and righteousness in Jacob.


And the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I am coming to you in a thick cloud, so that the people may hear when I speak with you and always believe in you.” Then Moses told the words of the people to the Lord.


The people stood a distance away as Moses drew near to the thick darkness where God was.


It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness, for the throne is established through righteousness.


the Lord is slow to anger and great in power, and the Lord will in no way acquit the guilty. In gale winds and a storm is His way, and clouds are the dust of His feet.


Oh the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable are His ways!
