Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being.


Then Absalom sent a message to Joab, requesting that he send him to the king, but he was not willing to come to him. So he sent a second message, but still he was not willing to come.


“What is man, that You should exalt him, and that You should set Your heart on him,


Bless the Lord, you His angels, mighty in strength, who do His word, obeying the voice of His word!


who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,


Lord, what is man, that You take regard of him? Or the son of a man, that You are mindful of him?


Your throne, O God, endures forever and ever. The scepter of Your kingdom is a scepter of justice.

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels to suffer death, crowned with glory and honor, so that He, by the grace of God, should experience death for everyone.
