I will incline my ear to a parable; I will reveal my riddle with the music of the harp.


Why should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my foes surrounds me,


to understand a proverb and an interpretation, the words of the wise and their riddles.


Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me,


Without a parable He did not speak to them. But when they were alone, He expounded on all things to His disciples.


The Lord rooted them out of their land in anger and in wrath and in great indignation, and threw them into another land, as it is today.”
