Incline, O  Lord, Your ear and hear. Open, O  Lord, Your eyes and see. Hear the words of Sennacherib, which he sent to taunt the living God.


Stir up Yourself, and awake for my defense, for my cause, my God and my Lord!


The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice; there is none who does good.


Remember this, that the enemy has reviled, O  Lord, and that a foolish people has blasphemed Your name.


Now therefore, what do I have here, says the Lord, seeing that My people have been taken away for nothing? Those who rule over them make them wail, says the Lord, and My name is continually blasphemed all day long.
