The tents of robbers are at peace, and those who provoke God are secure, into whose hand they bring their own god.


Upright men will be astonished at this, and the innocent will stir up himself against the hypocrite.


Why do the wicked live and become old; yes, become mighty in power?


He gives them security, and they rely on it; yet His eyes are on their ways.


His ways are always prosperous; Your judgments are high and distant from him; as for all his enemies, he scoffs at them.


Fret not because of evildoers, nor be envious of the workers of iniquity.


Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him; fret not because of those who prosper in their way, because of those who bring wicked schemes to pass.


Let not your heart envy sinners, but be in the fear of the Lord all the day long.


Be not envious of evil men, nor desire to be with them,


Do not envy the oppressor and do not choose any of his ways,


I have seen everything in my vain life: There is the righteous person who dies in his righteousness; and there is the wicked person who prolongs his life in his wickedness.


Righteous are You, O  Lord, that I plead with You. Indeed, let me talk with You about matters of justice. Why does the way of the wicked prosper? Why are all those happy who deal very treacherously?


And now we call the proud blessed, for those who do wickedness are built up; they even test God and escape.”


Do you think that the Scripture says in vain, “He yearns jealously for the spirit that lives in us” ?
