Let my accusers be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a mantle.


O  Lord, I cry unto You; make haste to me! Give ear to my voice when I cry unto You.


Many bulls surround me; strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.


Deliver my soul from the sword, my precious life from the power of the dog!


Let those who rejoice at my calamity be ashamed and brought to confusion; let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who exalt themselves against me.


Let them be put to shame and dishonor who seek after my life. Let them be turned back and confounded who devise evil against me.


Let them be ashamed and confounded together who seek to snatch away my life; let them be driven backward and dishonored who desire my hurt.


May all my enemies be ashamed and greatly troubled; may they turn back and be suddenly ashamed.


O God, be not far from me; O my God, make haste to help me.


Let them be confounded and consumed who are adversaries of my soul; let them be covered with reproach and dishonor who seek my hurt.


So the word of the Lord will be to them, “Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” that they might go and fall backward, be broken, snared, and taken captive.


Behold, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and humiliated; they shall be as nothing, and those who strive with you shall perish.
