for behold, the wicked bend their bow; they have fitted their arrow to the string, that they may treacherously shoot the upright in heart.


Keep me from the snares which they have laid for me, and from the traps of those who work iniquity.


My soul is among lions; I lie among the sons of men who are set on fire, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.


Let them vanish like waters which run continually; when he aims his arrows, let them be as broken pieces.
