So David sent messengers, and took her; and she came to him, and he lay with her. When she had purified herself from her uncleanness, she returned to her house.


The Lord sent Nathan to David. He came to him and said, “There were two men in a certain city. One was wealthy, but the other was poor.


Who can understand his errors? Cleanse me from secret faults.


Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.


Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil from your deeds, from before My eyes. Cease to do evil,


O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your evil thoughts lodge within you?


Then I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean. From all your filthiness and from all your idols, I will cleanse you.


The garment that you have washed, either in the warp or woof, or anything of leather, if the disease is gone from it, then it shall be washed a second time and shall be clean.


On that day there will be a spring opened up for the house of David and for the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and impurity.
