One evening when David arose from his bed and was walking on the roof of the king’s house, from the roof he saw a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.


No longer cover their iniquity nor blot out their sin, which is before You since they have made insults against the builders.


For their sake He remembered His covenant, and relented according to the greatness of His mercy.


Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Your wonders; they did not remember the abundance of Your mercy, but rebelled by the sea, at the Red Sea.


But You, O  God, the Lord, work on my behalf for Your name’s sake; because Your mercy is good, deliver me.


Deal with Your servant according to Your mercy, and teach me Your statutes.


The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works.


Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have given me relief when I was in distress; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.


Withhold not Your mercy from me, O  Lord; let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.


But as for me, in the abundance of Your mercy I will enter Your house; in fear of You I will worship at Your holy temple.


Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.


But as for me, my prayer is to You, O  Lord, at an acceptable time; O God, in the abundance of Your mercy, answer me in the truth of Your salvation.


Hear me, O  Lord, for Your lovingkindness is good; turn to me according to the abundance of Your tender mercies.


Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has He in anger withheld His tender mercies?”   Selah


I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake, and will not remember your sins.


I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, your transgressions, and your sins, as a cloud. Return to Me, for I have redeemed you.


Look down from heaven and see, from Your holy and glorious habitation. Where are Your zeal and Your strength? The stirrings of Your heart and Your mercies toward me are restrained.


I will mention the steadfast love of the Lord and the praises of the Lord, according to all that the Lord has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which He has bestowed on them according to His mercy, and according to the multitude of His kindnesses.


Yet, Lord, You know all their counsel against me to slay me. Do not forgive their iniquity nor blot out their sin from Your sight; but let them be overthrown before You; deal thus with them in the time of Your anger.


But though He causes grief, yet He will have compassion according to the abundance of His mercies.


O my God, incline Your ear and hear. Open Your eyes and look at our desolations and the city which is called by Your name, for we do not present our supplications before You for our righteousness, but for Your great mercies.


To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him.


Therefore repent and be converted, that your sins may be wiped away, that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,


He blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us and contrary to us, and He took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.
