Dan shall be a serpent by the road, a viper on the path, that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider will fall backward.


For dogs have encompassed me; the assembly of the wicked has encircled me; they pierced my hands and my feet;


Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.


For my iniquities have gone over my head; like a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.


I will open my mouth in a parable; I will speak mysteries of old,


If you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small.


The iniquities of the wicked ensnare him, and he is caught in the cords of his sin.


but they did not consider in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness. Now their own deeds surround them; they are before My face.
