Psalm 48:1

Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah, said: “Stand up and bless the Lord your God forever and ever! Let them bless Your glorious name, which is exalted above all blessing and praise.


Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised! His greatness is unsearchable.


Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; His understanding is infinite.


“I have set My king on Zion, My holy hill.”


I will extol You, O  Lord, for You have lifted me up, and have not let my foes rejoice over me.


As the deer pants for the water brooks, so my soul pants for You, O God.


God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.


There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy dwelling place of the Most High.


God reigns over the nations; God sits on His holy throne.


Praise awaits You, O God, in Zion, and to You shall vows be performed.


but chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which He loves.


For You are great and do wondrous deeds; You alone are God.


His foundation is in the holy mountains.


Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God.    Selah.


For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.


Exalt the Lord our God and worship at His holy mountain, for the Lord our God is holy!


And in that day the great trumpet shall be blown, and those who were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall worship the Lord in the holy mount at Jerusalem.


Thus says the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel: Once again they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities when I restore their fortunes: “May the Lord bless you, O habitation of righteousness and mountain of holiness!”


But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance, and it shall be holy; and the house of Jacob shall possess those who dispossessed them.


Then it will be that in the latter days, the mountain of the house of the Lord will be established as head of the mountains, and will be lifted up above the hills; and people will stream to it.


Thus says the Lord: I have returned to Zion and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem, and Jerusalem will be called a city of faithfulness and the mountain of the Lord of Hosts, the holy mountain.


“So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),


But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels;


Then a voice came from the throne, saying: “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”


I, John, saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
