the God of my strength, in whom I will trust; my shield and the horn of my salvation, my fortress and my sanctuary; my Savior, You save me from violence.


Attend unto my cry, for I am brought very low; deliver me from my persecutors, for they are stronger than me.


Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of the hills also quaked, because He was angry.


Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.


Though an army may encamp against me, my heart will not fear; though war may rise against me, yet I will be confident.


The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I was helped; therefore my heart rejoices, and with my song I will thank Him.


But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their refuge in the time of trouble.


To You, O my strength, will I sing, for God is my defense, the God who shows me lovingkindness.


Trust in Him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.   Selah


Surely men of low degree are but a vapor; men of high degree are a lie; in the balances they go up; they are together lighter than vapor.


“They have neither knowledge nor understanding; they walk around in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken.”


I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”


O the Hope of Israel, its Savior in time of trouble, why should You be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man who turns aside to pitch his tent for a night?


The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of distress; and He knows those who take refuge in Him.


Jesus answered them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also, if you say to this mountain, ‘Be removed, and be thrown into the sea,’ it will be done.


Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.


So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
