Then Abraham said about Sarah his wife, “She is my sister.” So Abimelech, king of Gerar, sent for her and took Sarah.


There was a famine in the land, in addition to the first famine that was during the days of Abraham. Isaac went to Abimelech king of the Philistines in Gerar.


I have leaned on You since my birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise will be continually of You.


Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day.


The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in the Lord will be safe.


At midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.


Then they departed from the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name.
