Why do you persecute me as God does, and are not satisfied with my flesh?


if the men of my tent have not said, ‘Who is there who has not been satisfied with his meat?’


They surrounded me like bees; they were extinguished like a fire of thorns, but in the name of the Lord I destroyed them.


Have they no knowledge, all the workers of iniquity, who eat my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon the Lord?


The cords of death encompassed me; the torrents of destruction assailed me.


For dogs have encompassed me; the assembly of the wicked has encircled me; they pierced my hands and my feet;


Arise, O  Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wicked.


Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge, who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call on God?


When my enemies are turned back, they will stumble and perish at Your presence.


Many among them shall stumble and fall and be broken and be snared and be taken.
