Cast out the scoffer, and contention will leave; indeed, strife and shame will cease.


The heavens for height, and the earth for depth, so the heart of kings is unsearchable.


Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who takes hold of it, who keeps from polluting the Sabbath and keeps his hand from doing any evil.


You shall not go around as a slanderer among your people, nor shall you stand by while the life of your neighbor is in danger: I am the Lord.


Therefore, everything you would like men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.


slanderers, God-haters, insolent, proud, boastful, inventors of evil things, and disobedient toward parents,


Repay no one evil for evil. Commend what is honest in the sight of all men.


Love works no evil to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.


to speak evil of no one, not to be contentious, but gentle, showing all humility toward everyone.


Do not speak evil of one another, brothers. He who speaks evil of his brother and judges his brother speaks evil of the law and judges the law. If you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.


Beloved, do not imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. Whoever does good is from God, but whoever does evil has not seen God.


See, my father! Look at the corner of your robe in my hand. Indeed, I cut off the corner of your robe, but I did not kill you. Observe and see that there is no evil or rebellion in my hand. I have not sinned against you, but you are lying in wait for my life to take it.
