And God saw the earth, and behold, it was corrupt, for all flesh had corrupted their way on the earth.

Arise, O  Lord; save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheek; You have broken the teeth of the wicked.


Save me, O God, by Your name, and vindicate me by Your strength.


O  Lord, do not rebuke me in Your anger, nor discipline me in the heat of Your anger.


Return, O  Lord, rescue my soul. Save me for the sake of Your lovingkindness.


Many a man will proclaim each his own goodness, but a loyal man, who can find?


Unless the Lord of Hosts had left to us a very small remnant, we would have been as Sodom; we would have been like Gomorrah.


The righteous man perishes, and no man lays it to heart; and merciful men are taken away while no one understands, for the righteous man is taken away from the evil to come.


No one calls for justice, nor does anyone plead for truth. They trust in vanity and speak lies; they conceive mischief and bring forth iniquity.


I looked and there was no one to help, and I was astonished, and there was no one to uphold; therefore, My own arm brought salvation to Me; and My fury upheld Me.


Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, see now and know; seek in the open places if you can find a man, if there is any who executes justice, who seeks the truth, that I may pardon her.


But when he saw the strong wind, he was afraid, and beginning to sink, he cried out, “Lord, save me!”


Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold.


His disciples went to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
