Therefore I set guards at the lowest positions behind the wall, in open places. I also stationed the people by families, with their swords, spears, and bows.


The wicked borrows and does not repay, but the righteous is generous and gives.


A good man obtains favor from the Lord, but a man of evil devices will He condemn.


A man devoid of understanding shakes hands in pledge and guarantees the loan for his neighbor.


He who is slack in his work is brother to him who is a master of destruction.


Thus you walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous.


Set in order your outside work, make it ready for yourself in the field, and afterwards build your house.


Now there was a man named Joseph, a member of the Council, who was a good and just man.


But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and the evil.


When they were filled, He told His disciples, “Collect the fragments that remain, that nothing may be lost.”


For he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And many people were added to the Lord.

Rarely for a righteous man will one die. Yet perhaps for a good man some would even dare to die.


See then that you walk carefully, not as fools, but as wise men,


And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all discernment,


Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, wisely using the opportunity.
