But Jacob journeyed to Sukkoth and built himself a house and made booths for his livestock. Therefore the name of the place is called Sukkoth.


Gilead is Mine, and Manasseh is Mine; Ephraim also is My helmet; Judah is My scepter;


The Lord God has sworn by His holiness: Behold, the days are coming upon you when they will take you away with hooks, the last one of you with fishhooks.


The boundary of Manasseh was from Asher to Mikmethath east of Shechem, and it runs south toward the inhabitants of En-tappuah.


They selected Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.


Joshua called for all the Israelite tribes at Shechem and summoned the elders, clan heads, judges, and officials of Israel. They presented themselves before God.
