Psalm 104:2

Behold, He spreads His light upon it and covers the bottom of the sea.


He who alone spreads out the heavens, and treads on the waves of the sea.


It is He who sits upon the circle of the earth, and the inhabitants are as grasshoppers, who stretches out the heavens as a curtain, and spreads them out as a tent to dwell in.


I have made the earth and created man on it. I, even My hands, have stretched out the heavens, and I have ordained all their host.


I watched until the thrones were cast down and the Ancient of Days was seated, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head like the pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame, and its wheels as burning fire.


His brightness was like the light; rays flashed from His hand, and there His power was hidden.


The oracle of the word of the Lord against Israel. Thus says the Lord, the One who stretches out the heavens and establishes the earth and forms the spirit of man within him:


and was transfigured before them. His face shone as the sun, and His garments became white as the light.


He alone has immortality, living in unapproachable light, whom no one has seen, nor can see. To Him be honor and everlasting power. Amen.


This then is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.
