I, Tertius, who wrote this epistle, greet you in the Lord.


For if you were to have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers. In Christ Jesus I have become a father to you through the gospel.


Now I, Paul, who am lowly in presence among you but bold toward you while absent, appeal to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ.


You are our letter written in our hearts, known and read by all men.


and lest if any Macedonians come with me and find you unprepared, we (not to mention you) should be ashamed of this confident boasting.


Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing.
