12 The Levites will lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you will offer one as a sin offering and the other as a burnt offering to the Lord, to make an atonement for the Levites.

Then you shall bring a bull before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands on the head of the bull.


Then he shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.


and two turtledoves or two pigeons, such as he is able to afford. The one shall be a sin offering and the other a burnt offering.


Aaron shall bring the bull of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bull of the sin offering for himself.


And Aaron shall lay both his hands on the head of the live goat, and confess over it all the iniquities of the Israelites, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them on the head of the goat, and shall send it away by the hand of a designated man into the wilderness.


Aaron shall offer his bull for the sin offering, which is for himself, and make atonement for himself and for his house.


The elders of the congregation shall lay their hands on the head of the bull before the Lord, and the bull will be slaughtered before the Lord.


He shall do to this bull just as he did to the bull of the sin offering; this is what he will do to it. And the priest shall make atonement for them, and they shall be forgiven.


And he shall remove all the fat, just as the fat of the sheep is removed from the peace sacrifice, and the priest shall burn it on the altar as a food offering to the Lord made by fire. And the priest shall make atonement for his sin that he committed, and he shall be forgiven.


He shall bring the bull to the opening of the tent of meeting before the Lord, and he shall lay his hand on the bull’s head and slaughter the bull before the Lord.


If he cannot afford an animal, then he shall bring for his guilt offering, on account of the sin that he committed, two turtledoves or two pigeons to the Lord, one for a sin offering and one for a burnt offering.


He brought the bull for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering.


He slaughtered it, and Moses took the blood, and put it on the horns of the altar around it with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it to make reconciliation on it.


Then he brought the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.


As he has done this day, so the Lord has commanded what is to be done to make atonement for you.


Then Moses said to Aaron, “Go to the altar, and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people, and offer the sacrifice of the people, and make atonement for them, as the Lord commanded.”


And he will offer his offering to the Lord, one male lamb one year old without blemish as a burnt offering, one ewe lamb one year old without blemish as a sin offering, one ram without blemish as a peace offering,


The priest will bring them before the Lord and will offer his sin offering and his burnt offering.


You will set the Levites before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to the Lord.


Then let them take a young bull with its grain offering, also fine flour mixed with oil, and you will take another young bull as a sin offering.


And according to the law almost everything must be cleansed with blood; without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
