8 But if the man has no relative to repay the offense to, let the offense be repaid to the Lord, even to the priest, beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement will be made for him.

The money from the guilt offerings and the money from the sin offerings were not brought into the house of the Lord. It belonged to the priests.


And he shall repay the sin that he committed with regard to the holy thing and shall add one-fifth to it and give it to the priest. The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven.


or all that about which he has sworn falsely. He shall repay it in full and shall add one-fifth to it. He shall give it to whom it belongs on the day that he is found guilty.


As the sin offering, so is the guilt offering; there is one law for them: the priest who makes atonement shall have it.


and shall confess his sin which he has committed, and he will repay his offense with its principal, and add to it one-fifth, and give it to him who was wronged.


Every offering of all the holy things of the Israelites, which they bring to the priest, will be his.
