Then David said to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.” Nathan said to David, “Now the Lord has put away your sin; you shall not die.


The Gibeonites said to him, “We have no concern for silver or gold from Saul or his household, nor is it for us to put any man in Israel to death.” He said to them, “What are you saying I should do for you?”


Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, O God of my salvation, and my tongue will sing aloud of Your righteousness.


But if a man willfully comes upon his neighbor in order to kill him cunningly, then you must take him from My altar, that he may die.


I will judge you as women who commit adultery or shed blood are judged. And I will bring on you the blood of fury and jealousy.


Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death.


If he strikes him with a stone in hand, by which he could die, and he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.


Whoever kills a person, the murderer will be put to death by the testimony of witnesses, but one witness will not testify against a person for death.


You will not take a ransom for him who fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come out again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.


“Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor secretly.” And all the people shall say, “Amen.”
