He that strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death.


Whoever kills any man shall surely be put to death.


If he strikes him with an instrument of iron, so that he dies, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.


And you will not take a ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he will surely be put to death.


But if he does not listen, then take with you one or two others, that by the testimony of two or three witnesses every word may be established.


“Does our law judge a man before it hears him and knows what he is doing?”


This is the third time I am coming to you. “In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.”


A single witness must not rise up against a man on account of any iniquity or any sin that he sins. At the testimony of two witnesses or at the testimony of three witnesses shall the matter be established.


“Cursed is he who strikes down his neighbor secretly.” And all the people shall say, “Amen.”


Do not receive an accusation against an elder, except before two or three witnesses.


Anyone who despised Moses’ law died without mercy in the presence of two or three witnesses.


And I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for one thousand two hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.”
