Then the Israelites went and did so. Just as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so they did.


All the offerings of the holy things which the Israelites offer to the Lord I have given to you, and to your sons and your daughters with you, as an eternal statute. It is a covenant of salt forever before the Lord, to you and to your seed with you.


The Lord spoke to Aaron: Behold, I have given you charge of the offerings made to Me, all the sanctified gifts of the Israelites. To you and to your sons have I given them as a portion, as an ordinance forever.


The people were sixteen thousand, of which the Lord’s tribute was thirty-two people.


Of the half of the Israelites, which Moses divided from the men who fought,


Every man’s holy things will be his. Whatever any man gives the priest, it will be his.


Every offering of all the holy things of the Israelites, which they bring to the priest, will be his.


nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor shoes, nor even staffs. For the workman is worthy of his keep.


Let him who is taught in the word share all good things with him who teaches.


Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and teaching.
