The women also said, “When we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings to her, did we make her cakes to worship her and pour out drink offerings to her without our husbands?”


Or when a person swears by speaking rashly with his lips to do evil or to do good, anything that a man may speak rashly by oath, and he did not realize it, but when he realizes it, then he has become guilty of any of these things.


But if her father restrains her in the day he hears, none of her vows or her bonds with which she has bound herself will stand, and the Lord will forgive her, because her father restrained her.


and her husband heard it and was silent to her in the day that he heard it, then her vows will stand, and her bonds with which she bound herself will stand.


But every vow of a widow and of her that is divorced, with which she has bound herself, will stand against her.


Let your women remain silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak. They are commanded to be under obedience, as the law also says.


The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
