Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You before the sons of men!


All men will fear, and will declare the work of God; they will wisely consider His deeds.


Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am the first, and with the last. I am He.


who frustrates the omens of the boasters and makes fools out of diviners, who turns wise men backward and makes their knowledge foolish,


For the king of Babylon stands at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination: He shakes the arrows, he consults the images, he looks in the liver.
