He said to them, “Lodge here tonight, and I will bring you word again, as the Lord will speak to me.” And the leaders of Moab dwelt with Balaam.


But Balaam answered Balak, “Did I not tell you, saying, ‘All that the Lord speaks, I must do’?”


Balaam said to Balak, “Did I not speak to your messengers which you sent to me, saying,


‘If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the mouth of the Lord, to do either good or bad of my own mind. But what the Lord speaks, I will speak’?


Peter said to him, “May your money perish with you, because you thought you could purchase the gift of God with money!


They profess that they know God, but in their deeds they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and worthless for every good work.


but I refused to listen to Balaam. Therefore he blessed you still, and I delivered you out of his hand.
