God settles the solitary in a home; He leads out the prisoners to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.


Then they spoke against God, saying, “Can God prepare a table in the wilderness?


Then they said to Moses, “Is it because there were no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you dealt with us in this way, bringing us out of Egypt?


So the people murmured against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”


When the Israelites saw it, they said one to another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.


The house of Israel named it manna, and it was like coriander seed and was white, and its taste was like wafers made with honey.


A full soul loathes honey, but to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.


Yet the children rebelled against Me. They did not walk in My statutes, nor did they keep My judgments to do them, which if a man does them, he shall live. They polluted My Sabbaths. Then I said I would pour out My fury upon them to accomplish My anger against them in the wilderness.


but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it will be nauseating to you because you rejected the Lord who is among you and have wept before Him, saying, ‘Why did we come out of Egypt?’ ”


But the next day all the assembly of the Israelites murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed the people of the Lord.”


The Israelites spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish, we perish, we all perish.


Neither let us test Christ, as some of them also tempted and were destroyed by serpents.
