Sihon, king of the Amorites, and Og, king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan,


and Og, king of Bashan, for His mercy endures forever;


Many bulls surround me; strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.


The mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; a mountain of many peaks is the mountain of Bashan.


The Lord said, “I will bring them back from Bashan; I will bring them back from the depths of the sea,


The earth mourns and languishes; Lebanon is ashamed and hewn down. Sharon is like a wilderness, and Bashan and Carmel shake off their fruits.


Of the oaks of Bashan they have made your oars; with ivory they have inlaid your deck of boxwood out of the coastlands of Cyprus.


You shall eat the flesh of the mighty and drink the blood of the officials of the earth as though of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
