how he swore to the Lord, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob,


If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. Come, O Lord!


you shall surely put the inhabitants of that city to the sword, utterly destroying it, all that is in it and its livestock—with the edge of the sword.


You must gather all the spoils of it into the middle of the street and burn the city with fire along with all the spoils within it for the Lord your God, and it will be a heap forever. It must not be rebuilt.


But of the cities of these people, which the Lord your God is giving you for an inheritance, you must not leave alive anything that breathes.


and when the Lord your God delivers them before you and you strike them down, then you must utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them.


The city and all that is in it are dedicated to the Lord for destruction. Only Rahab the prostitute may live, she, and all who are with her in her house, for she hid the messengers we sent.
