Abram fell on his face and God said to him,


When all the people saw it, they fell on their faces and said, “The Lord, He is God! The Lord, He is God!”


David lifted up his eyes and saw the angel of the Lord standing between earth and heaven with his sword drawn in his hand stretched out over Jerusalem. So David and the elders, covered in sackcloth, fell on their faces.


While they were killing, I was left alone; and I fell on my face and cried out, “Ah, Lord God! Will You destroy all the rest of Israel by Your pouring out of Your fury upon Jerusalem?”


Yet I heard the sound of his words; and while I heard the sound of his words, then I was in a deep sleep on my face with my face toward the ground.


A fire came out from before the Lord, and it consumed the burnt offering and the fat that were on the altar. When all the people saw this, they shouted and fell on their faces.


Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, from the ones who explored the land, tore their clothes.


They fell on their faces and said, “O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, will one man sin and You will be angry with all the assembly?”


And when Moses heard it, he fell on his face,


“Get up from among this assembly, that I may destroy them in a moment.” And they fell on their faces.


The Lord said to Moses, “Return the rod of Aaron before the testimony, to be kept for a warning to rebels, that you may put an end to their complaints before Me, or else they will die.”


Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly to the door of the tent of meeting, and they fell on their faces, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them.


He went a little farther, and falling on His face, He prayed, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”


He said, “Neither, for I am the commander of the army of the Lord. Now I have come.” Then Joshua fell with his face to the ground and worshipped. Then he said, “What does my Lord wish to say to His servant?”


Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! Why have you fallen on your face?


the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne, and worship Him, who lives forever and ever. Then they cast their crowns before the throne, saying,


The four living creatures said, “Amen.” And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshipped Him who lives forever and ever.


All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures and fell on their faces before the throne and worshipped God,
