26 And they returned and came to Moses and to Aaron and to all the assembly of the Israelites, to the Wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh, and brought back word to them and to the entire assembly and showed them the fruit of the land.

Then they turned back and came to En-mishpat (that is, Kadesh) and conquered all the country of the Amalekites and also the Amorites who lived in Hazezon Tamar.


The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the Wilderness of Kadesh.


They returned from exploring the land after forty days.


And Moses sent them from the Wilderness of Paran according to the Lord. All those men were heads of the Israelites.


Then the Israelites, the whole assembly, came to the Wilderness of Zin in the first month, and the people dwelt in Kadesh, and Miriam died there and was buried there.


Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, “Thus says your brother Israel: You know all the hardship that has found us,


And when we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt. “And here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your territory.


Thus your fathers did, when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.


When they went up to the Valley of Eshkol and saw the land, they discouraged the hearts of the Israelites so they would not go into the land which the Lord had given them.


They set out from Ezion Geber and camped in the Wilderness of Zin, which is Kadesh.


When we departed from Horeb, we went through all that great and terrible wilderness, which you saw by the way of the mountain of the Amorites, as the Lord our God commanded us, and we came to Kadesh Barnea.


(It is an eleven-day journey from Horeb by the way of Mount Seir to Kadesh Barnea.)


The descendants of Judah approached Joshua at Gilgal, and Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, “You know what the Lord said to Moses the man of God about you and me at Kadesh Barnea.


I was forty years old when Moses the servant of the Lord sent me from Kadesh Barnea to spy on the land, and I brought word back to him as it was in my heart.
