26 But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other, Medad. And the Spirit rested on them. They were among those listed, but they had not gone out to the tent, and so they prophesied in the camp.

Then the Spirit of God came on Azariah the son of Oded,


For many years You endured them and warned them by Your Spirit in Your prophets, yet they would not listen. Therefore, You gave them into the hand of the people of the lands.


Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and that I should bring forth the Israelites out of Egypt?”


Then I said, “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.”


Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, “I am shut in. I cannot go into the house of the Lord.


And a young man ran and told Moses and said, “Eldad and Medad prophesy in the camp.”


Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel dwelling in their tents by their tribes, and the Spirit of God came on him.


Therefore they inquired again of the Lord, “Has the man come here yet?” And the Lord answered, “Behold, he has hidden himself among the equipment.”


And the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them. And you will be turned into another man.


Nevertheless Saul did not say anything that day. For he thought, “Something has happened. He is not clean; surely he is not clean.”
