so that my soul chooses strangling, even death rather than my life.


Yet now, if You will, forgive their sin, but if not, I pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.”


Why is my pain perpetual and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? Shall You be altogether to me as a deceptive stream and as waters that fail?


Why did I come forth from the womb to see trouble and sorrow, so that my days are spent in shame?


Therefore, Lord, take my life from me, for it is better for me to die than to live.”


The Lord has taken away your judgments, He has cast out your enemies. The King of Israel, the Lord, is in your midst; you will see evil no more.


But let patience complete its work, that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing.
