Through your servants you have reproached the Lord and have said, ‘With my many chariots I have come up to the heights of the mountains, to the remotest parts of Lebanon; and I cut down its tall cedars, and its choice fir trees; and I will go to its highest peak, its thickest forest.


For behold, the Lord shall come with fire, and with His chariots like a whirlwind, to render His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire.


Behold, he shall come up as clouds, and his chariots shall be as a whirlwind. His horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us, for we are ruined!


Come up, O horses, and rage, O chariots! And let the mighty men come forth: the Cushites and the Libyans who handle the shield, and the Lydians who handle and bend the bow.


They shall come against you with weapons, chariots and wagons, and with an assembly of peoples. They shall set themselves against you on every side with small and large shields and helmet. And I will set the judgment before them, and they shall judge you according to their customs.


By reason of the abundance of his horses, their dust shall cover you. Your walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen and of the wagons and of the chariots when he enters your gates as men enter a city that has been breached.


For thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will bring upon Tyre Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses and with chariots, and with horsemen, and a great army.
