Let all those who hate Zion be put to shame and turned backward.


For they have conspired together with one accord; they form an alliance against You—


However he does not so intend, nor does he plan so in his heart; but his purpose is to destroy and to cut off many nations.


Woe to the multitude of many people who make a noise like the noise of the seas, and the rushing of many peoples who make a rumble like the rumbling of mighty waters!


The multitude of all the nations who fight against Ariel, even all who fight against her and her stronghold, and who distress her, shall be as a dream of a night vision.


In the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and laid siege to it; they built a siege wall all around it.


therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Tyre, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes its waves to come up.


Thus says the Lord God: Are you he of whom I have spoken in former days by My servants the prophets of Israel, who prophesied in those days for many years that I would bring you against them?


But you should not have gloated on the day of your brother, on the day of his misfortune; you should not have rejoiced over the Judahites on the day of their destruction; you should not have boasted on the day of distress.


Then my enemy will see, and shame will cover her who said to me, “Where is the Lord your God?” My eyes will look upon her; now she will be trampled like muck in the streets.


And it will be on that day that I will set Jerusalem as a weighty stone to all the peoples. All who carry it will surely gash themselves, and all the nations of the land will be gathered against it.
