Whoever blasphemes the name of the Lord, he shall surely be put to death, and the entire congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native in the land, when he blasphemes the name, then he shall be put to death.


But the person who acts by a high hand, the natural-born citizen or the foreigner, the same reviles the Lord, and that person will be cut off from among his people.


Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has uttered blasphemy. What further need do we have for witnesses? See, now you have heard His blasphemy.


for He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.


You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?” They all condemned Him as guilty unto death.


Truly I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they speak.


But he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal condemnation.”
