Then Amaziah said to the man of God, “So what should I do about the hundred talents of silver that I gave to the military party from Israel?” And the man of God responded, “The Lord has more to give to you than this.”


He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant.


Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and shepherd faithfulness.


Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.


His disciples said to Him, “Where will we get enough bread in the wilderness to feed such a great crowd?”


But He answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ ”


“Therefore, I say to you, take no thought about your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body than clothing?


Who among you by taking thought can add one cubit to his stature?


But Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and troubled about many things.


“When they bring you to the synagogues, rulers, and authorities, do not be anxious how you will answer or what you will say.


Then He said to His disciples, “Therefore I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, what you will eat, nor for your body, what you will wear.


And do not seek what you will eat or what you will drink, nor be of an anxious mind.


Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with gratitude, make your requests known to God.


Cast all your care upon Him, because He cares for you.
