And you, Capernaum, who is exalted toward heaven, will be brought down to Hades. For if the mighty works which have been done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.


When they came to Capernaum, those who collected tax money came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the tax ?”


that what was spoken by Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, saying:


“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, the way to the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles:


He entered a boat, crossed over, and came into His own city.


They went to Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.


Again, He entered Capernaum after some days. And it was reported that He was in the house.


And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will be thrust down to Hades.


He said to them, “You will surely say to Me this proverb, ‘Physician, heal Yourself. Whatever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in Your country.’ ”


After this He, and His mother, and His brothers, and His disciples went down to Capernaum. They remained there a few days.


So Jesus came again to Cana of Galilee where He had made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman whose son was sick in Capernaum.


They got into a boat and went across the sea toward Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not come to them.


When the people therefore saw that neither Jesus nor His disciples were there, they also got into boats and came to Capernaum, looking for Jesus.


He said these things in the synagogue, as He taught in Capernaum.
