After the sixty-two weeks Messiah shall be cut off and shall have nothing. And the troops of the prince who shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end of it shall come with a flood. And until the end of the war desolations are determined.


even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many.”


The rest said, “Leave Him alone. Let us see if Elijah will come to save Him.”


But Jesus cried with a loud voice and gave up the spirit.


And Jesus cried out with a loud voice, “Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” Having said this, He gave up the spirit.


“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep.


Even as the Father knows Me, so I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep.


A bowl full of sour wine was placed there. So they put a sponge full of sour wine on hyssop and held it to His mouth.


When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished.” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.


So then, as the children share in flesh and blood, He likewise took part in these, so that through death He might destroy him who has the power of death, that is, the devil,


In the days of His flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to Him who was able to save Him from death. He was heard because of His godly fear.


how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
